Invergordon is a small community in the Goulburn Valley, which is about 200kms north of Melbourne, Victoria's capital city.
Our school is small with about 45 children attending. At school we have 3 classes,Prep/One; Two/Three and Four, Five & Six (our class). Even though we are a small school we do big things. We go on excursions, school camps and heaps of other exciting things. Sometimes we have to do boring old school work though!!!
Around our school there are mainly dairy farms and orchards. We have lots of fresh fruit and milk. Our fruit goes to the factory at SPC in Shepparton.
There are lots of things to do at weekends. We can play cricket, tennis (summer) and football (Australian Rules) and netball in winter. Some people like horse riding and we have a Pony Club too.
When we leave Primary School at the end of this year we have to go to Shepparton or Numurkah to go to Secondary school.
